Conrad Scheibye
He is currently studying for his A-Levels at St Paul’s School, where he has discovered a synergy between finance and engineering. This passion led him to co-found Initium Aerospace, an organization that fuses innovative engineering with economic purpose to redefine the boundaries of aerospace technology. His fascination with aerospace engineering stems from a love for mathematics and fast-flying machines, along with a belief that engineering finds its true value when it delivers tangible economic impact for others.
He developed a drone capable of autonomously creating 3D maps of areas, initially with the goal of mapping his school campus. His interest in physics motivated him to analyze ATLAS Open Data from CERN using Python, focusing on determining the mass of the Z0 boson and presenting those findings at the Tonbridge Science Conference. While he has yet to complete an aerospace degree, he has deepened his technical knowledge through online aerospace courses from MITx and DelftX.
Beyond engineering, he has gained financial expertise by serving as an Analyst at Wimmer Financial and completing corporate finance courses from ColumbiaX. He is proficient in both Python and R and has experience in developing recurrent neural networks. He also earned the National Award for Denmark in the International Youth Maths Challenge.
At Initium Aerospace, he is most excited about the mission to develop innovative space technology that will break boundaries and have a tangible impact on the world.
